Introduction

People (1) contains Bio-Digs for the heads of household who occupied Westover Villas according to the 1851 Census. The development consisted of sixteen luxury villas designed for families having a large retinue of servants. All except one had people staying at this time. Plausible identities have emerged for the majority of these heads of household. Bad legibility restricts identification in some cases. The people belonged to the country’s higher, if not highest, social levels. They consisted of landed gentry, lawyers, clergymen, and merchants. In addition, a handful of women, married or spinsters, completed the list.
